Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 11:00AM Steven Wente, cantor (music director) at First Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Chicago, the oldest Lutheran congregation in Chicago, and the birthplace of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in 1847. He is also distinguished professor of music emeritus at Concordia University Chicago, where he continues to play in chapel occasionally.
